Another thread from last month mentioned the new Purolator CQ's, but I didn't want to revive an old thread, but here is their official press release declaring the switch.

The manufacture of the filters probably started in April and hit the stores in May,
CQ Blue prices should go down, since they are most likely to be P1 clones, and the actual name brand P1's are cheaper than current CQ Blue prices. For example, the PL14610 is $6.99, and the CQ 84356 is $8.09. They will most likely be inferior to the Fram-made CQ's, which were similar if not identical to the M1, and before that they were Wix.
