A Robot vacuum ?

I've had 4 different kinds. None are a 100% substitute for manual cleaning. Maybe if you had no furniture. Mapping and radar is best. Battery life has degraded so much after 4 years that it will barely clean 1 large room now. I won't replace it when it dies.

I find out iRobot too loud when home. It seems to get dust where we don’t vacuum and seems to miss dirt where we typically vacuum.

My wife and I really enjoy our Roomba. It’s a 985 model with wifi mapping and some sort of vision. It’s great at picking up lots of fine dust and hair from our laminate floors. It has a good pleated paper final filter and I do empty it out after every 2 to 3 runs. I do have to put away dangling cell phone cables before running it.
