Last week at this time I saw "A Complete Unknown" with three dear friends.
We all liked it.
I know movie reviews are dangerous because people can pick up on one "trigger facet" and they can be singularly vocal about it.
I went because I heard the principles did a great job. The same reason I saw "Bohemian Rhapsody" a few years back.
This Dylan movie was markedly better than the Freddie Mercury film.
I wasn't even so interested in the real characters, however, I did like seeing the depiction of events 1961 - 1965.
This is one of very few movies which used actual news footage of the day.

So, without pretending to write an 'all seeing, high criticism review', I'll just tell the BITOG crowd.....

See it for the cars!

There was one shot of a garbage truck in Manhattan....and it was just wrong....but I can overlook that (ha-ha)

A point of interest was made by showing characters loading their "early" Corvair trunk.
The plot continued; Bob Dylan's evolution away from folk music defined the film's trajectory.

He, Timothe'e Chalamet, visits his inspirational mentor at the geriatric home one last time before leaving on his motorcycle and ending the movie.
A late Corvair is the last car in the parking lot.

Indeed, the times, they were a changin'.

Hard points:
It was a little slow at times, but not horribly so.
Apparently, the real Dylan wasn't too good at enunciating and the actor did a faithful job mimicking him. Thankfully, the pace of the dialogue kept things moving.
