This was the first and only run of 0W-20 in my Accord. I am very happy with the results.I wish Mobil still made this oil... I put RP 5W-20 in and will use M1 5W-20 in the future When I can find it
The OW-20 did about the same as the 5W-30 I had used. All miles were a mix of city/Highway using K&N oil and air filters.

Is this a 4 cylinder or V6? You have only two viscosities listed, which ones are they for?

350F Flash point is really low. Its hard to understand why there is no fuel dilution. Like 427Z06 asked..which two analysis's are the viscosity, etc for??

everything looks equal except the lead is a weird anomaly. first it's 10ppm with 5w-30, then 2ppm with 5w-30, back up to 8 with 0w-20. I would have switched mobil 1 not to 0w-20 but to the new EP oils.

looks like you forgot the viscosity, fuel, etc with this 0w-20 run.

the 2 viscosities are from the last 2 runs. The Ow-20 on the left side. 5W-30 on the right.
The lead was 8 in this sample, 10 in the last one and 10 the one before that. I made a mistake in entering the numbers.

The only reason I did a UOA this time was to compare the 0W-20 to the 5W-30.

Hey question, does it burn any oil with those low weights?? Hows the MPG with that setup?

I run 10w30 mobil 1, with the same car, with more mileage. (but no burning of oil) Should I run 5w30? or 5w20? thanks!

Fred Bear's UOA comparison results between M1 5w-30 and M1 0w-20 are very similar to my results when I tested both in my Acura RSX. I found wear no worse (and maybe slightly better) with the 0w-20, and the gas mileage was better also. I had lower consumption with the 5w-30.

I track the MPG close and the trend is .6 MPG better with the 0W-20. It burns no oil. The Dallas/Ft. Worth traffic can be brutal on cars (oils) I am happy with the 20 weight. I have RP 5W-20 in now(was in a speed shop and they had it on sale) but will return to the M1 20 weight when I can find it!

yup, I live in LA/OC, my car is always in traffic! Thanks for the advice, man I use to run 15w50 a year ago....haha~!
