6000 miles on this roll and looks like the day I installed it.
Replace, add 1 qrt and repeat.
Happy 5R110.

True, I have a filter fetish.Yeah, it's the trifecta of atf filtering, I am sure the depth of the Motor Guard can handle it all on it's own.
That's what I've done in the past, but now going to see how well 6-10,000 mile filter changes work. Thanks for posting the "TP" filter. If you're replacing 1 qt every 6k then why not just get it all changed at once? I know that may not be any fun.
I don't blame you on that one. Especially if the clean fluid was the remedy. How many miles on the Ford transmission now? That's what I've done in the past, but now going to see how well 6-10,000 mile filter changes work.I drained the fluid at 50,000 miles after having issues with intermittent torque convertor unluck issues.
That solved the issue, so going to keep the fluids super clean.

Very true. That's neat. It would be interesting to take a section of that filter and inspect it under a powerful microscope. I'll bet there are plenty of particulates trapped.
I'm not sure to be honest.I don't blame you on that one. Especially if the clean fluid was the remedy. How many miles on the Ford transmission now?
Doing that every 10k, I’d think that’s all you’d ever need to do. Those TP filters keep the fluid almost clean as new and 1qt added every 10k is keeping it replenished. That's what I've done in the past, but now going to see how well 6-10,000 mile filter changes work.I drained the fluid at 50,000 miles after having issues with intermittent torque convertor unluck issues.

Other than the manual valve, there are no valves in the valve body. Just solenoids. There are several valves in the pump, however. The valves that wear there are due to being pulse width modulated. (always moving) The manual valve wears, too. And that's due to side loading from pressure.Nice! That's gonna be one long-lasting trans valve body.
