2025 Ram 1500 I6 Hurricane; PUP 0w-20

I would for sure if it were mine, I'd run 0W40 just like the HO version calls for. I'm waiting for that engine to find its way into the Wrangler, by then they should have it all dialed in. I6 Turbo what's not to like.

In that narrow wrangler engine bay i'd be very curious to see if, or how they deal with the heat generated by those turbos. It sounded like mopar engineers already had their work cut out for them with the 392. It wouldn't surprise me if that's a limiting factor but it would be really cool to see an I-6 wrangler return.

It will be interesting, if it happens. IMO if they do pull it off it will be with the next generation of the Wrangler, they might have to make it a little longer. Time will tell, my bet would be it sells, a lot.

Nothing less then ESP 0W30 or Edge 0W30.
Looking at that KV100 7.6cst and knowing how hot those turbos get. Yuck.
I'm with this opinion. I would be for upping the viscosity. If you won't do that because of warranty, I would cut back on the OCI whatever you needed to cut back in order to keep the viscosity above 8.
