Running like a champ. 58,000 miles now on veg and still running great. I'm now starting and stopping on 100% veg, no diesel. I pre heat the engine 45 min with the Webasto heater before starting and starts like diesel. I use one us gallon a week in diesel to run the Webasto. Temps now are around 25-32f at night, so fairly warm.
I sometimes go years without checking the transmission fluid. I was surprised to see the fluid is red on the Subaru. Went ahead and checked the 76 Ford and the transmission filter on the tractor all red. Havent checked the wifes Pontiac Torrent .when I installed the Motor Guard I added a quart of new ATF . In about a thousand miles I changed the Motor Guard and added another Quart. It has a Toyota transmission with a dipstick under the car. Hard to get to. Havent checked it. About 70.000 miles on the fluid since I started driving it. Same on the motor oil. New wife tells me they dont recommend toilet paper filters where she gets her oil changed. Said I can mess up the old Pontiac. She works and pays for her ignorance.

I've started changing the rolls every 10,000 miles now for the trans. I had an overdrive solenoid that started to misbehave at 50-60K, so I now change a M100 roll every 10,000 miles and add a quart. Should keep the 5R110 happy for a lifetime.
My Ford diesel tractor is a masterpiece of engineering. One reservoir of Hydraulic oil 5 gallons lubricates the 12 speed transmission. Supplies the power steering the 3 point hitch and the front end loader with a lousy strainer in the bottom of the tank. At the loader control valve I reduced the pressure with a orifice a needle valve. Installed a Motor Guard and a K N in parallel. The KN is to give the fluid a place to go if the Motor Guard clogges up. Drilled and tapped the fill cap for a return.
