I bought a 2007 F-350 King Ranch with the 6.0 last summer for towing my camper. My 05 with the 5.4 was definitely not up to it. This was a one owner truck, and it came from Montana where they don't use salt on the roads, so it has no rust. Interior is also in nearly perfect condition. I kind of feel bad driving it in the snow and salt now. The engine was freshly rebuilt, heads studded, EGR delete, new oil cooler, etc. I installed a coolant filter right away after buying it. I don't think this thing was ever really even used as a truck before I bought it. It has a B&W gooseneck hitch, but it had a bedliner put in over it and also had a fiberglass tonneau cover on it. I pulled the ball out and it looks like it's never been used. The factory reciever hitch looked like it had maybe only ever been used a couple times. I've put almost 10,000 miles on it so far and I absolutely love the truck. Tows my camper effortlessly, just set the cruise control and you could totally forget you're towing anything. At $19,000 I paid a bit of a premium for this truck over some others I had looked at, but it was well worth it considering the excellent condition and the work that was done.
