04 Ford Freestar: 21K miles, mostly use MC 5w20, and MC filters. OCI = 4000 miles.

05 Dodge Neon SXT: 1.5K miles, will try Royal Purple 5w20, Pure 1 Oil filters, and 5000 OCIs.

2004 Honda Civic EX with 3000 OCIs on Castrol GTX 5W-20 and a Purolator Premium Plus filter. The car starts smoothly on winter mornings and the MPG is very good. I know the oil can go longer than 3000, but what the heck! I like changing the oil and I intend to keep this vehicle around for a long time.

This thread makes me want to try 5w-20 in my car, a 2001 Mazda with the 2.5 liter V6 (Japanese made). So far as i know, Mazda/Ford has NOT back-spec'd 5w-20 for this car. I've noticed my car burns a tad bit of 5w30 (approx 1/2 quart per 2,000 miles) and doesn't burn any 10w30 when i use it.

I'd be intersted to see if it burns any 5w20 as I've heard of some mechanics at honda shops getting rid of oil usage by switching to 5w20 from 5w30.

Glad to see all the high-mileage reports in here!

Sorry, I forgot to add that I have 43,000 miles, with many more to go.

Personally owned:
2003 Honda CR-V: Havoline 5w20 with LC.

My parents vehicles which I service:
2005 F150 4.6: Motorcraft 5w20
2001 Lincoln Town Car: Havoline 5w20

My assigned patrol car:
2001 Crown Vic Police Interceptor: Motorcraft 5w20.

My car:

1998 Ford SVT Contour
2.5L Duratech V-6
171,000 miles
MC 5w20 with FL820s
3000 mile OCI

Have used M1 5w30, 10w30, 0w40, TropArtic 5w30, Penz 5w30, GC. MC 5w20 gives me the best combo of performance, smoothness, quietness, and least amount of burn off.

Oh...K&N, then AFE air filter for the past 110,000 miles

2003 Escort ZX2,16k. Have used 5w-20 since new. Mobil 1,Mobil Clean,Mobil 5000 all 0w-20 or 5w-20. With MC or hastings filters. Now it's filled with MC 5w20 because of leaking oil pan gasket, replaced under warranty. OCI of every 6 months, usually ~2.5k. Lots of short trips.

Is that it for 5w20 users. There gotta be more out there.

2001 Ford Taurus with 3.0L DOHC "Duratec" V-6. 63,000 Miles.

After an initial 3000 Mile OCI of Mobil 1 5W-30, that oil was changed at the weekend for Mobil 1 5W-20 with an Amsoil EA011 oil filter.

Currently, I have less than 100 miles with the new oil, but my observations are very positive with it. Engine warm starts are quicker and acceleration seems to be more responsive.

I like the way it feels with the new oil; much more so than with the 5W-30.
