2qt of exxon and 3 of Castrol Syn?

Ok I am picking up 2 of autozone specials. 5 qts of 5w20 syntec and kn filter for $29.99

Will be doing oil change on 2 vehicles. The expedition needs 7 qts and RSX needs 5qt. So I will be using 7 full syntec in the expedition, and will it be ok to mix 2 qts of Exxon 5w20 (dino) with 3 qts of the 5w20 sytec and run 8k OCI.

I would not run 8K on a syn-blend without a UOA.

I don't fancy long OCI's either, but that's just because I like changing my oil.

I wouldn't hesitate one bit though to run it 5,000 miles. 8,000 just seems kinda iffy without knowing the engine's quirks and foibles personally.

XOM current stock quote is 66.80 (-2.24) were you referring to shorting the stock for 5 bucks a share profit, in you pick of the day?
