I just received this from ALS lab.
This is from my 2016 Ford Escape 2.5 Duratec (a Mazda designed engine).
I used 4.6 quarts of older Exxon SL rated 5w20 dino and approx. 1.2 qts. of Esso XD-3 0w30 SL rated synthetic and approx. 6 ounces of Liquimoly MOS2 and an oversized Purolator Classic SL20195 filter made in 2008.

Miles on oil - 6017 Miles on unit at oil change- 60K
Iron - 5 ppm
Copper - 1
Aluminum - 2
Silicon - 6
Magnesium - 15
Calcium - 2892
Phosphorous - 1052
Zinc - 1295
Moly - 307
Boron - 37

All other values were < 1

Viscosity - 8.9
Base # 2.6

This 6K OCI included a roundtrip from NY to Florida with the rest being a mix of regular
driving.

As you can see I'm not afraid to use older oils and filters that have been properly stored in this easy on oil non GDI engine. That was the last of my SL stash and I'm now running SM rated QS synthetic in it until my stash of it is gone (2 OCIs).

Looks good.

Looks good.
Yes...I'm happy with going 6K on a homemade syn-blend that's 'obsolete' with such good numbers. It looks like I could have went at least another thousand miles.
