Hit the mother-lode on oil at Autozone tonight. I saw Pennzoil 20w50 on sale for $2.95 per quart, when the guy rang me up he took another 75% off due to a closeout. Looks like I am covered for the next few oil changes. He stated it was on sale because it is a heavy weight oil and the cold season has arrived. Thought I would share with the group.

Now submit for the Pennzoil $2/qt rebate and you will end up being "paid" over $1/qt for using their oil. Hard to beat deal.
If you have other cars that use normal grade oils, you can pick up some 0w-20 PP at $2.59/qt as well to mix with the 20w-50 to make something near a 10w-30 grade.

I ran 20w50 in my 87 dodge 318 since it was new. Sold it a couple of months ago with 20w50 still in it.

I can't even think of anything I own [cars, mower, snow blower, or power washer] that I'd use it in. Now if I had a use for it I'd be all over it.
I'd use it in an M3....
1 Dollar a quart oil on the shelves , here in Spain the cheapest oil i can find on a shelf at a shop is about 5 Dollars a qt.
Online prices though are miles cheaper.

My Ford Capri also reccomends 20w50 in the owner's manual, being a little sloppy at 150k miles it helps maintain good oil pressure, my next change will be VR1 or Motul .
