2021 ZR2 - Bison

I was out there aprox. 2005 with my 2002 ranger 4x4 ORP, with rock sliders and hydraulic winch.. was pretty flooded though.

I love it. Everything about it. The only thing I'd improve on it is the interior, but it's not that bad. On road it doesn't float or have that ultra soft feeling most off road suspensions do. It's very composed.
one reason I might prefer the ZR2 to just a Z71...the Multimatic shocks are really supposed to make the ride very nice on smooth or rough surfaces...nicer than the other Colorado options so I've read...

I've had a couple "false starts" on buying one of these but my off road driving is maybe a gravel driveway ;) but I still like the feeling such vehicle give you that you can go anywhere you need to go...and this one in comfort as well...

Enjoy that ride!

It doesn't ride like a typical off-road vehicle, which usually has a "floaty/soft" feel over bumps. If anything, it's on the stiffer side. The truck stays very level and is very firm.

Some prefer that soft ride. I know the FX-4 Ranger, and 4Runner were like that. If you hit large bumps on the road you barely feel it. The ZR2 drives more like a car in that regard. However, the harder you push it off-road, the suspension just takes it.

I want to get one of these black emblem covers. Never liked the Chevy emblem, especially in gold.

I’m not as keen on the chevys but I gotta say the proportions on this one are perfect. This is really a nice looking truck in and out. The wheels and the fenders.... man they nailed it. I don’t know if the aftermarket could top it, perfect proportions to my eye, and I’m not even a Chevy guy! Nice. Truck.

I am going to add shock skids due to the placement of the shocks. A bit unusual why Chevy put them where they did. There is a shock relocating kit but I'm going to take the easy way out and use the skid plates.

Saw a buster post the other day. Hadn't seen one in a while.

Thought "what the heck is with this Bison avatar?"

OK. Can't keep up with this dude.

Nice sled buster !
Hope you stay attached to it for a while.
Duly noted about the silky smooth tranny.
This setup looks good.
The rake/clearance is "correct."
