2019 RAV4 XLE Premium with 8-speed auto close 120k miles
What's the deal with changing the filter on this unit? Evidently there is only a side pan & a replaceable gasket is not available. Therefore, either replace pan at $120 or use RTV. Of course, the latter is the obvious choice. But is the filter fairly easy to replace? Evidently, there is not an o-ring on the filter. So, I'm wondering if there is anything atypical about replacing this filter? I've replaced on our 2016 Highlander and a 2015 Camry with no issue, but just now thinking about it on this AT.
