I put off replacing my 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 to 2016 in hopes that the rumored 300 hp AWD Mazdaspeed 3 would see production. Hope springs eternal...

I was under the impression that the SkyActiv X engine would be in this years models. That plus the six speed manual would make for some happy members here.

I like the updated styling.

Not a fan of the rounded out back on the hatchback. It reminds me of a Gremlin.

The sedan looks sexy though, and the interior appears simple and classy as well. Nice!

I just wish that darn screen could fold down.

Gotta 2016 3 and CX3 in the family and I'm waiting for some junkie to break the windshield thinking it's something to steal. Sis has a 2012 3iTouring

Gotta look at 'em in person.

Right there with you. We are glad we got the 2017 Rav4. Seems the 2019s are doing this sort of thing as well.

Neither me nor oilBabe are fans.

Love to see the new Skyactive engine. I am hoping Mazda not going CVT and 6-speed automatic will not bring CVT like problems. And I am not quite impressed with the C pillar design. I am just happy with the old design.

But they're all that way now. How many windshields will they break before they catch on?

looks like they lost interest in the design stage from the front door back, that back end is horrendous, as previously stated Gremlin comes to mind.

Does he mean the expensive electronic actuator that's more reliable and responsive than any hydraulic unit?
Killmer also said Mazda makes the worst automatic transmission out of anyone. He's an idiot

Scotty Kilmer annoys me with his yelling into the camera. I can't watch his videos because of that.

Isn't Mazda one of the few that still use a conventional automatic? I haven't heard about issues with them when I was still working in a garage or more recently from my friend who works there.

Yes they still use automatics and they are very nice.

Mazda has been making quality vehicles for longest time, along with Honda, it is my favorite car manufacturer;

I think they have gotten so much better after divorcing Ford and going through their SkyActiv initiative.
