I did, but unless I missed it, he never said which brand oil.
The Brand doesn't matter just the ratings the oil has and the quality of the blender. Oil is oil. The oil was a syn blend. The engine lasted 200,000 miles and still runs fine. Lets not let our preconceived notions get in the way of facts fellas today quality oils are the best ever.

My engine runs better on premium/high octane fuel and I also like the added protection against LSPI. Those are two very good reasons for me...but I know others will diaagree.

So what oil do you think would work good? Ford calls for 5w30.

Thanks

Since this is a pretty new fuel delivery system, and it should improve the fuel dilution situation, if it were me, this is what is what I would do. Get a Ford Fastlane oil change/tire rotate at 2,000 miles. They are cheap. It will get the assembly/wear-in crud out. Run that change until 5,000 or so miles, and do a used oil analysis. If no fuel dilution/shear, just start running the OLM.
