2017 Hyundai Sonata - Oil Recommendation

I run PP 5w-30 in both my Kias that list 5w-20 as 'preffered' and 5w-30 as an option - no gas mileage diff and cars seem to be happier with 5w-30, I tried both viscosities in both for a couple of OCs with same PP.

PP 5W30 is a thinner 5W30 where as M1 5W30 is thicker ... If I was on the fence as a 5W20 user , I would choose the PP 5W30 .
