With that out of the way, I love the new Camaro. The styling is *just right* with most of it. I never will like the gangster look to these stupid-high door sills they like these days, but excepting that, it's perfect. The rear tail lamps are spot-on...much better than the current car, which I already thought were good. I never knew I disliked them until I saw the 2013's rear lamps.

Excellent job, Chevy, with the new Camaro.

Just fix the doorsill height.

I think it maybe the angle of that picture, some others it looks better. I still like the SS better though. Something about the hood/front facia on the Z28 looks heavy, and I don't like the added on arch flares that follow the tire too closely particularly at the bottom.

I'm however more interested in what that is in the background of this picture:

Yeah, I guess they wanted it to look like the '66 with the over-under headlights, and big, bulky, square, sedan-like body??

(Not to mention the p***-poor handling/braking.)

That's the problem.

Maybe GM was going for the "one sausage - three sizes" BMW thing. The kidney grill does seem familiar there. But the 3-er, 5-er, and 7-er are all distinctly different sizes.

I think the noise from the haters is based on the lack of differentiation from the Grand Am, G6 and Grand Prix.

It's hard to hate the Monaro/GTO based on what it does...unless you have a '69 Ram Air IV Goat and you just got smoked by a Vegemite burner. Then you are going to be a bit cranky.

The Mustang is #1 IMHO..I barely see a Camaro in Miami-Dade or Broward County but Mustangs are everywhere..Last night I finally saw a Camaro on the 395 Causeway to Miami Beach..It was first one I saw in about a month.
