My trunk has struts. Weird. I'd still trade for a 3.7 AWD

Actually almost purchased one last week, hybrid that is. In speaking with a mechanic while waiting who also worked at Toyota scared me some, said no brainer, Toyota is the only way to go in a Hybrid. Well, the Lincoln/Fusion hybrid actually was smoother on the switch from elec to gas than the Toyota and I thought drove better. 4 Year warranty versus 3 on the Toyota. Averaged close to 40 mpg in my test drive, decent power but one is not buying it for power. I have one of those and want something to drive for MPG and the Fusion just seemed to blah. Yea, some things still poor, using a key for example but if one wants a semi luxury car with great mpg there is not much out there, Lexus stinks IMO and all others as still in the low 30 mpg highway and 25 or so city. POOR!

Lincoln hasn't had a decent car since they knocked off the S-Type for the LS.

Lincoln has really lost its way.

I hate to say this, but I do agree with you. Lincoln styling went ugly and Cadillac has just beat them at their game. They should have kept the Town Car, though. Ford, on the other hand, is doing a real nice job with their new Ford models. The Taurus and Fusion are nice looking cars.

I went out and got my G8 this afternoon, and darned if it doesn't have struts also, and can still stand the boot lid straight up.

I like the Fusion much better. And the current MKZ for that matter. I've actually been tempted to see what kind of a deal I could swing on one, seeing they are not exactly a hot item.
