Do a couple more samples on subsequent runs to establish trends. Nice result so far, but thickening should be monitored; although it’s well within spec and not necessarily at condemnation limits. We’ve seen HPL oils thicken on extended intervals but what are the inols and TBN like? Nothing else abnormal would indicate the run is still within limits.
2011 GMC Sierra, 4.8 Penzoil Ultra Platinum 5-W 30, 7k on oil, 170k on engine.
