Changing the oil in my aunts Camry (not under warranty)and have these two in my garage. I already stocked up on filters for my Scion with the same engine so it will be a Bosch or a Denso. What do you think would be better for this engine?

Either. Really!

Both are excellent products (the PYB is new but Pennzoil is not going to put junk out)

Also the Mobil 5000 is a excellent oil.

Clean your glasses off Bill, he said Motorcraft.

And I would use PYB.

I know. But also Mobil 5000 is a good oil. (Got to keep the Mobil boyz happy so they don't think I'm biased)

The tC and xB models come standard with the 2.4L. The xD is the only model with the 1.8L.

PYB all the way my 03 camry runs best with pennzoil. Mobil clean 5k and valvoline makes my car feel slugish. Also my mpg reduced as well with valvoline and mc5k. Knowing from past experence PYB will work best with your engine. It's a great oil and hard to beat for the price. Look at the uoa it's a top performer with great results.

Only in 5w20 at the stores here. Have to buy individual quarts for other weights. My aunts is marked 5w30, and while I know its back speced to 5w20, the hot summers here probably mean sticking with 5w30 is good.

I'm going on a long trip in the next few weeks (6,000 miles plus) and thought I'm going to try some PYB 10w30 in the Subaru (from my normal 5w30) and see how it does plus a UOA.

Get to Wal-Mart and wola! $13.50... Guess their 8% is in effect
now??

$12.50 plus 8% = $13.50

UOA's are nice!

I had bought some of the new PYB in 5w30 but wanted to try the 10w30.

Its going in on Sunday and next Friday off we go! 6k miles in 2 weeks and depending on how I feel when I get back I'll change it and it will get a UOA.

Take care, bill
