Mine used to do that stall for last eleven years but only when the conditions are exactly right, including engine temperature, outside temperature and the time between the restart. After the first stall, the only way to keep it running was to blip the throttle to prevent it from stalling i.e. if you keep on restarting, it would die every single time until you blip the throttle. Knock on the wood but after good cleaning of the throttle body (mine is 2000, so it is mechanical throttle' 2002 might be electronic throttle, BE VERY CAREFUL) I have not encountered that restart stall.

I was thinking TB, but as mine is electronic, I have been hesitant to clean it. I have heard of some horror stories after cleaning electonic TB. Anyone have a DIY for electronic TB
