Hey all, I recently received a $200 gift card for Amazon and can't think of a single thing I need, or want, for that matter. Any suggestions? Im not gonna spend it on oil or anything as I recently acquired 68 qts from a local sale. Looking for something fun (or electronic) Thanks!

What kind of oil did you buy? The mystik from mills that was on sale for 0.59/qt??

Just wait and buy house hold items when you need them, like toilet paper, detergent ect. Make sure you buy the prime membership with that gift card for $80, 2 day shipping on everything for a year. Its well worth the money!

Just hang onto it. I have about $200 in credit that I've just slowly chipped away at with small orders here-and-there.

You caught me! $40 for 68 qts was too good to resist.

I'm getting bunches of car parts from them cheaper than anyone else. Free shipping really helps stuff like brake rotors... and it's your choice of chinese or name brand.

Thanks for the suggestions! Im also considering another pair of Oakley sunglasses, just because the ones I have don't go with all of my clothes (Or so I've been told, anyways...)

IIRC, Amazon credits don't expire so I would just wait until you need/want something instead of buying stuff for the heck of spending the credits.

+1

Just keep it for now. Non-frivolous things will come up which you actually need, and with the Free Super Saver Shipping, items often end up cheaper to your door than at a place in town which you would have had to drive to anyway. Plus Amazon has more selection.

Example: Just used some of my banked up credit from selling back textbooks to buy a 8 dollar can-opener. Its beefy, USA made, and built to last, but cost the same as my rusted out 1 year old one from WM.

Use it up on random things you need to buy. Same goes for rebate cards I get back for oil etc.: They get used up at the gas station.
