Anyone interested in copies of CAR FIX IT, a weekly Brit periodical from 1984? Yours for the cost of shipping.

I have issues #7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15-17, and 19-22. There were 72 in all.

These might have nostalgic value for some of our Brit, Aussie, or Kiwi members.

To the OP:
Any ads for "fuel saving" devices? (Ha-ha)

If it was easy to do, I'd love Issue #7...the first one pictured.
Alas, I don't have an electric money account and have only US stamps to send you!

These are on the way to our own @Kira.

Sorry, no ads - I guess they were relying solely on the cover price for revenue.

Edit: However, at some point I plan to round up a bunch of old PS magazines from the '80s. They are no doubt chock-full of miracle fuel-saving devices.

Ha-Dear Grandma got me a subscription in 1969. Not until PS became a thin brochure of audio equipment ads did I let it lapse.
I even used their "Six years and save" renewal offers.
I knew about GE Silicone Rubber, Integrated Circuit Applications and WD-40 before anybody.

Was WD-40's 25 cent offer made in Canada?
You sent them a quarter and they mailed you a 2 oz. spray can in a tagged, cloth bag.

I got lenticular, color changing film samples and patches of solar gain foil applique'.
