175k mile jeep Loud Lifter sound on startup, Best Additive?

I sold a Mach 1 Mustang in the 80s which had a 351 Cleveland with completely worn out lifters. (Yes,i sold as is)
This engine was a major Rattle Trap when it was cold, one can of STP oil treatment and as it warmed up the sound would pretty much go away.

Had a 73' Merc Montego with a 351 Windsor. The ONLY problem I ever has was that stupid plastic cam gear that shredded. Couldn't kill that engine. Used it in 3 engine swaps, with the tranny attached. Couldn't kill nether of them !!!!! . I beat them to death. I was in my teens. I know they say the Cleveland was better, but guess what the Windsor replaced 3X.... 351 Cleveland's with dead oil pumps. Just a 351 rant.....Oh, it was good to be young ! Hangin motors with tranny's from a tree branch. Not a single ache or pain
