11' Ford F150 5.0 oil consumption, timing chain

I can only vouch for pp10w30 as that is what i tried given its low noack value.
Dont know how pp 5w30 or pp5w20 or pp0w20 would do !

No oil will help if the chain tensioners are on their way out, i would get it repaired as all that slapping around of the timing chains when started is sending more metal particles into the oil.
 
Does anyone have a pic of timing chain tensioner ?
Does the oil drain out of it by design or a leak ?
A heavier oil will not drain out as fast as synthetic low weight ?
