0W-8 in 2026 Toyota Prius

So are you claiming that only an -8 grade oil will fit through those passages? A -30 or -40 would have molecules that are too large?
I don't claim anything. Plus, the engine on the pictures is 0W-20 spec (US) and 5W-30 (JDM).
I'm just showing the narrow holes and passages that the oil goes through.

I wonder how any oil fits in the bearing clearances?
Does it matter how far from the oil pump are those holes and passages?
Because they are the farthest in the oil system - at the valve cover. I didn't know until now that oil goes through my valve cover.

Delo 15w40 has a rebate going. If it works in a Crown Vic, it must work in a Prius. All kidding aside. They are great cars. We've been watching the prices and interest rates waiting to pull the trigger on one.

You should see the sizes of the holes in the pushrods in a pushrod engine.
