GF just purchased an 07 nitro with 63 miles on it....Sweet! Now I can have some fun with the lubricants. The warranty allows for a 6k drain. I chose the Amsoil 5w20 xl for the app. Right now there are 1200 miles on it and I am itching to get the factory fill outta there. Would you gentlemen considder this a godsend to be able to monitor an engine since day 1? for me, this seems like a fantastic excuse to start getting her to pay for some uoa's. Let's hope fellas.

There's a joke in there, but I'll refrain from mentioning it.

That's about exactly what I've done with my new rides within the past year: factory fill got dumped at 1500, then used dino or MC for 3000. Next one at 4000, then even out at 5k.

The 3.7 litre engine is specd for a 5w20. The 4.0 is specd for a 10w30. i wish I had the 4.0 and another 50 or so horses. That engine puts out about 260 hp (or claimed to). The woman's is the 3.7 with 210hp. No fun.
