I know that Honda filters are made by fram so I definetly do not want to use those filters even if I void the warranty on my new 07 TL-S. By using an after market filter. So my question is what filter would you use in this car considering flow, filtration, and quality. Thanks

There's nothing wrong with Fram filters contrary to what members on this board want you to believe.

If you can find the A02 version of the Honda OEM filter for $4-$5, it's a good value.

The honda filtech (P/N 15400-PLM-A01) is a great filter

Where can I find the A01, I have called several dealers and they tell me they don't make it anymore

It is against the Federal law for automaker to condition warranty on usage of its own branded parts or fluid. It is amazing how many folks assume automakers have such right while such practice is against the Magnum Moss Warranty Act.

I'll second the A01, I have a friend that can get them from the dealership he works at, pm me if you want to get some from him, i'll give you his information. I have 5 of them for my Acura on hand, but not for sale unfortunately

As for warranties on oil filters, I know a lot of aftermarket oil filters say they uphold the manufacturer's warranty if you use their filters (STP, Supertech, etc.)

I was going to say H and A Accessories (where I bought mine), but it looks like they only offer the A02 on their website now

WIX 51356 from Fleetfilter buy a few as well as some air and cabin filters so you qualify for the 15% discount. then sleep well at night. I bought some oil filters for my 06 SL500; they came in a NAPA box but were branded MANN. I bought one oil filter from my dealer, it came in a Mercedes box. The filter was branded MANN. The only difference? The Mercedes box was prettier and it cost $20 more than what fleetfilter charges. Support these guys, they run a fine business, and if they can make some money doing it, #@$%! bless them!

I highly recommend that you use the Honda 15400-PCX-004 filter. This is the filter specified for the Honda S2000 and fits all Hondas.

Here is a link to a Honda filter review:
S2000 OEM Oil Filter Summary

Fantastic filter as I am using it now on an Accord of all things. Love the added low-end torque when paird with some Pennzoil Platinum. I really like this filter. I got the A02 but Canadian made next with M1 or MC. Shrug.
