Hi guys, need some input from you 3rd-gen Ram owners. Got a friend here at work who's having trouble with his front door seals. When he closes the doors, the front edge (ahead of the hinges) digs into the door seals on the A pillar. It's nearly ripped through the driver's side and the passenger side is well on its way. Hard to believe this design made it to production, so I cant help but think there's something awry with HIS truck specifically. Anyone else experiencing this?

I had the same thing, dealer replaced them with the newer style seals under warranty. There is a tsb out for it and the new seals fix the problem. Call your local dealer and make sure they have them in stock before you take your truck there.

Remember, TSB's are not recalls, and don't extend the factory warranty. Be prepared to pay for the repair over 36/36000.
