I pulled this off of my dad's 00 GMC Sierra V8. It had 3,000 miles and on for 1 year. Short trips, very little highway use. Nothing wrong with this filter, or any previous E-core that has been used. This was a dealer installed filter.

Take a look at Pinnacle flight 3701..... 2 guys wanted to joined the "410" club. They stalled the RJ at 41,000 ft, flamed out both engine.
