I pulled this off of my dad's 00 GMC Sierra V8. It had 3,000 miles and on for 1 year. Short trips, very little highway use. Nothing wrong with this filter, or any previous E-core that has been used. This was a dealer installed filter.

I don't plan on it. He has 2 personal trucks. This one doesn't get driven as much as the other one. He normally does the oil change at the dealer, but since it was long overdue I decided to change it while he was in town visiting me.
