Hi, I have a 1997 Accord EX 4-cyl/AT. When I put it into 'D', there is about a 1-2 second delay before you feel the "bump" of it shifting into gear. It's not very noticible, and has done this since day one. My 1995 Accord wagon did the same thing for the 8 years we owned it. No problems at all...

I've also been using the Wax As U Dry and can report that it works as advertised. I'm thrilled with this product and use it every time I wash my cars.

Hi Guys, This GF4 formulation has me in a quandry. For my 1997 Accord, I have 15 quarts of the free Maxlife. Herein lies my problem: Should I get rid of it and get some of the new GF4 Motorcrat 5W30 or DriveClean 5W30? Or, should I resist my BITOG-induced OCD and use up the Maxlife first...

What weight oil have you decided on? 5w-20 or 5w-30?

My vote goes for a bargain basement approach: Since the 4.6 calls for 5w-20, Exxon SuperFlo 5w-20 or Motorcraft 5w-20. It would be interesting to see just how good these oils actually are! I'd like to see the Supertech filter used on it. But, for this application, I think the Motorcraft would...

All of the SuperTech motor oil and ATF had the old blue/grey color. I was thinking it would be the color of the Chevron bottles....but no dice.

I doubt it too..that's why I buy my ATF-Z1 from the dealer I was only comparing the bottom of the bottles. The SuperTech DexronIII had the old WPP logo. Most of the motor oil had the new logo. So...it's the bottle manufacturer that's indicated by the logo? Darn...I thought I was onto something.

Hi, Was in WalMart last night...picked up some more free MaxLife and checked for the new SuperTech (supposedly in the light blue bottles). The SuperTech 5w30 was in the same old blue/grey bottles. But one thing....the bottom didn't have the WPP logo. It had a rectangle with a "G" in it. Funny...

Motorcraft 5w-20 is now $1.44 at Wally World in Northwest NJ.
