Not common, but it can happen. Car struggled a bit couple years ago with Pennzoil Euro 5W40, back when there were no 0W oils that had LL-01.

Got it. So a 0W has a max CCS of 6200 at -35C. Looks like both of these oils should suffice. The 0W40 is 5980, the 0W30 is 5850, so a little better at -35C. The 5W40 Euro is 6030 at -30 in comparison.

I think the 0W oils will have a higher percentage of PAO over the 5W versions. Others here would know better than me. I like that the 0W30 has a pour point of [edit -45C] , will be better for my daily driver in the winter. Should be better than the dealer 0W30 LL-01FE which has a HTHS of only...
