Breaking in a '16 Focus ST 2.0l Turbo

Want to swap out the factory fill on my Focus ST at 500m to get the crud out. Many say to use dino oil for break in oil. The ff is Motorcraft 5w-30 synth blend (manual doesn't specify synthetic). I'm planning to use Mobil Super 5000 (dino). Will this be safe for a turbo application, keeping in...

    SUPER TECH OIL ?

Don't know who makes it. I do know that I just picked up a qt. of the ST 5w-20 to use for a top-off oil and noticed that it has the GF-5/SN rating.

Thoughts on PYB for 5k OCI on a 3.0L Duratech

Hey Everybody, I have an '07 Mazda6S with a 3.0L Duratech (Ford) engine. My current fill is PYB 5w-20 and I'm at about 3K on this fill. Using the Motorcraft 820S filter, and so far all is great. My question is, PYB being a DINO is it OK to go with 5K OCIs? I noticed that when I used MC 5w-20...

Tell me about Wolfs Head Oil

I'm using their 5w-20 Synpack (Full Synthetic) in my '07 Mazda6 V6. Got about 1200mi. on this fill. So far it's kept my car running smooth! Got it for around $3.00 a qt. on sale at ACE hardware a few months back. I'm gonna' send some in to Blackstone for a UOA when it's time to swap it out. If...

Opinions: Wolf's Head 5w-20 Full Synthetic?

I've never tried this stuff before, but my local ACO hardware had this on sale for $3.49 a qt. Says it meets the SM service code. Thought for the price what the heck. Anyone have opinions or experience with this stuff?

    MC full syn

It's made by Conoco/Phillips, the bottle looks just like the Kendall Titanium (only a red bottle not silver). I run it in my Mazda6 which has the 3.0L Duratech (Ford) engine. All seems fine so far, and for $4.99 a qt. at AAP I'll keep buying it! It's regarded as a very good lube.

    BG syn ATF

BG is good stuff, got it in my Mazda6 (Asin/Warner 6spd. ATX).

    Used K&N Air Filter

I've never noticed any increase in either HP, mileage, or throttle response in any of the vehicles I've tried them in. But, I've also never had a problem using them (i.e.-MAF fouling). I tossed the one in my Mazda6S and went back to an OEM paper type. I actually think I get better throttle...

    BG transmission fluid

I had the tranny fluid in my '07 Mazda6 (Asin/Warner 6 spd. ATX) exchanged on 3/8/10 at 29,056 mi. It calls for the Toyota Type T-V fluid. The garage uses all the BG fluids, and they did use the BG cleaning agent as well. Before taking it in the fluid looked nice and red, smelled fine too. After...
