Amazon Basics Full Synthetic - any info?

Has anyone bought/used/tested Amazon's house brand full synthetic oil? Just wondering if there have been any takers so far.

I'm sure it is just fine but I would rather spend another $2-3 and get Mobil 1 synthetic. Not to mention you get a $12 rebate with the Mobil 1.

overpriced for what it is, the same generic WPP syn sold almost everywhere.

Probably the same as ST syn in regions where it is supplied by WPP

Its good WPP brand oil. Same as walmart's SuperTech oil, although Walmart beats Amazon on price, and you can mail-order both of them.
If it meets the dexos1 spec, its considered certified, decent stuff.

No way. That's just me. I have a very low opinion of Amazon from a moral perspective. I believe they'd do anything, I mean anything they thought they could get away with.
