Cruz Pedregon wild ride

Cruz is my favorite funny car driver. Reminds me of the old time drag racers more than anyone else. Had a wild ride. All I can say is WOW.

I wonder if because, he stayed on the throttle and didn't back out, the exhaust provided enough down force to prevent a blow-over?
A rear engine TFD may have blown over in the same situation.

Looks like the wheelie bar did its job. Heck of a driver to keep that thing under control. Was that at Las Vegas? The track prep there is usually really nice.

It was this past weekend in Vegas. A couple things happened during that which were fortunate for Cruz. There's already talk of possible new regulations for FC.
