Ok, I was wrong, somewhat. And, I should have posted it in the Promotions forum.
But, in a way, theoretically, antifreeze/coolant DOES lubricate the pump. Also, the whole cooling system at that. Without it and just plain water, what would happen? Rust? And, how do we prevent rust? We LUBRICATE!
Or, we can can call it a protective barrier. Either or............tomato, tomoto.....

Lubrication is IMO to prevent or reduce friciton. Now oil does many different things and another one of them is to oil, treat, cost, absorb into the metal to prevent rust. Maybe that is splitting hairs, but is there anything wrong with more accurate accuracy?
