What I find most disturbing is that they feel it's not a big deal to have that spelled out on their website. That doesn't speak highly of how they perceive the folks who will be reading it...

I suspect they are trying to tell you that using their additive you can use cheaper oil and still have better performance than just using the expensive oil.

If they said same oil and the numbers went from 255 to 57 that may add some credibility.
We don't even know what number the other oil had without their product.

I don't see how one could come to the conclusion or even suspect they mean you can use a cheaper oil and get better performance than an expensive oil from this statement.

Could be just a major brand dino and the other oil could be a high end GpIV/V exotic that had a number of 25 before they put their snot in it.

The other thing I noticed when I just read their claim is that they are still stating the results were achieved using two "SL" oils. I am not saying there is anything wrong with SL but the tests results would not be valid just due to out of date specs if not for the other glaring problems.
