Curious which interior paint people here have had good experiences with. I never really thought about it and just used Behr Premium Plus from HD, but recently tried Sherwin Williams Duration since it didn't cost much more when on sale. The SW paint did seem to have better coverage, especially as I went light grey over brown, but does it matter when you need two coats anyway? I opted for a matte finish and it surprisingly looks a lot better than the usual eggshell finish - more consistent and does a better job of hiding imperfections.
A better quality roller did make a big difference. A Purdy Marathon polyester roller held a lot of paint and left a very nice finish. I also tried a Purdy XL nylon brush but didn't really notice a difference with it as I'm an amateur painter at best.
