I respect anyone who works for a living. The idea of stretching before a shift is a very good one. Keeping worker injuries is to a minimum is a win=win deal for both you and Walmart.
As far as the Walmart Stores are concerned. Aren't they famous for working everyone at 29 hours per week so they don't have to provide any health insurance?

Health insurance is very expensive for employers to provide. I wouldn't blame them for trying to keep that cost down. When I was working for a famous aircraft manufacturer, they had very good medical/dental. You should have seen all the yahoo's use it to the maximum. One little hang-nail and off they went to the doctor, cluttering up the waiting rooms and taking off work on sick leave. Most of the abusers seemed to be females and their obsessive need to seek medical advice as though it was a trip to the mall. The ones that used the sick leave/medical properly, often felt guilty because of all the fraud. Yes, I'm glad employers have medical....it's just understandable when they want to save a buck as well. Nobody, and I mean nobody, has to work at Walmart. If everyone that works there has an issue with low hours/pay/medical, the best thing they can do is to go find work that provides you with what you need. Trust me, I'm no fan of Walmart and the buying of Chinese products, but I'm also no fan of people that complain yet do nothing to improve the siuation.
The individual has a lot more power and ability to change employers than employers have the ability to change the individual.....it comes down to effort, choices, sacrifices, and education.
