I smoked an S2000 a few weeks ago at a red light. Not a bad car but it needs/likes mods if you want to do any real speed with one. My buddy at work has one and is hoping to put down close to 300 rwh when he is done with his mods. What I wonder is why would you want to start out with a car that has 130-250 hp and tons less torque and then spend extra $$ working your way up to the 300hp+ range when you can gat a car like the Ford Mustang, Pontiac Trans AM, GTO, Camaro to name a few and already be in the 300hp+ range? Then you have to look at the cars body/frame. Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota have a few cars on the market that some folks like to race. These manufactures designed these car for cheep economical transporation(for the most part) and not race cars, so on top of the engine modifications you need to change the body structure.
