Dana no longer owns Wix Filters. Dana sold off it's Automotive aftermarket Group To Cypress group. Cypress formed a new company called Affinia Group, and put the AAG under it. Wix USA, as well as ALL it's overseas operations/facilities were included in this transaction.

Note that the DANA Diamond and logo are now missing from all the Wix product packaging.

Just thought Ya'll should know.

Same things happened to Purolator. I emailed them and they assured me the quality will remain the same. I still take a close look to see if it is when I buy their products. A little filter dissection is in the future, I think. I hope that Wix and Purolator keep up their end and don't fall to the level that Fram has with the cardboard end caps and filter media falling apart. I did read an article that the way of the future will be hard plastic endcaps for most US made oil filters. I don't know if this is good or bad?
