Why do I need to be told what to think? I read, IDK, 200-300 words a minute. This is way faster than any talking head can speak. Plus, if a story doesn't interest me, I can skip to another and not be stuck in a linear news delivery.
I have no need for 24 hour news. Condense it into 1/2 an hour every night and put Cialis ads in every break. I can run it for background noise while I'm reading news online.
Maybe it isn't a liberal or conservative thing. Maybe these news channels... all of them... exist for those who can't form their own opinions.
And that's [censored] scary.
Now the cable and satellite guys pay FNC and CNN per customer per month, whether they watch it or not. If I don't want either of those channels coming into my house, my only option is to cut the cord. They won't do a la carte. So I have no "cord". Happy.
I don't disagree with anything you said. I was merely pointing out it's hypocritical for people to constantly single out FOX News as the bad news outlet when the others are just as bad or worse about spreading propaganda...
