Most people would not think this much about their wiper arms... but I do. On my Focus, the passenger side wiper blade stops short of fully passing into the path of the drivers side wiper, meaning that when the wiping is complete, I get a streak that runs back down onto my just-cleaned windshield. So being the anal person that I am, I removed the passenger side wiper arm and bent it upwards, so that the passenger side wiper blade comes fully into the path of the drivers side blade, meaning no downward streaks. Does anyone else have this issue? This is the first car I've owned that had this problem. IMO it is a design flaw, simply fixed by manipulating the throw/positioning of the wiper pushrod itself. This should have been done when the car was designed.

I've found that on my geo that if i install wiper blades thatvare an inch longer than auggested it seems to cover better with fewer streaks.

I've tried a longer blade on the driver side and a shorter blade on the passenger side, but to no avail. So I bent the passenger arm to make it work.
