Always thought that was ridiculous and they wonder why those engines never took off.Nope, it's about $55-60 on eBay or about $15 for a quart.

Nope, it won't disappear. You can find any 2-stroke oil today online without the hustle.I wonder if TW3 marine two cycle oil will eventually disappear.
Actually, about $70 USD at Canadian Tire. I imagine demand is coming down with time.Does that stuff still cost like $100/gal like it did back in the day?
Well the 50:1 evenrude stuff was like $9/gal a long time ago. I bought a bunch for cheap a long time ago. It wasnt ever nmma certified though for some reason. I always just used the quicksilver because that kind of made me leary. Wouldn't have mattered in my 25 year old johnson lol.Actually, about $70 USD at Canadian Tire. I imagine demand is coming down with time.

If requested, an authorized dealer can program your Evinrude E-TEC outboard EMM forthe exclusive use of Evinrude/JohnsonXD100. Only an authorized Evinrude dealer can program your outboard for this optional benefit.
Other Oils
If Evinrude/Johnson brand oils are not available, you must use an oil that meets NMMATC-W3 certification standards.
i think eventually you’ll see it becoming harder in the states.
True its probably only a handful of the 200 countries that have banned them. They still make them
We went to Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines last year and probably 95% of what we saw were 2 strokes.
I have an OptiMax and that oil is $60/jug - it’s pretty lean n clean though …Actually, about $70 USD at Canadian Tire. I imagine demand is coming down with time.
Do snow mobiles use tcw3?Plenty of Ski Doo 2 stroke ETEC motors out there. Still in current production. 850cc turbos also.
Boats work great when used all the time. Most just sit in the garageIn another life time, like 1958, my Dad bought a 15 hp, johnson outboard, we put it on an old Cheerokee alumnin boat for fishing use,,,Dad use old gulf oil cans, 3o weight oil,,,about half a quart of oil to 6 gallons of gas and sometimes the whole quart was used,,well this engine ran for 15 years mostly summertimeonly,,,it never failed to start and no shop time......I know this sounds like a made up story, buts its true....life goes on.....................
I believe the answer is yes. At least some do. ( non-ETEC. ) Here is a Shell product at Canadian Tire.Do snow mobiles use tcw3?
Oh yeah. A lot of mountain machines use that out here.Plenty of Ski Doo 2 stroke ETEC motors out there. Still in current production. 850cc turbos also.
I figured. Sno mobiles are called ski doos up north and jet skis are sea doos. I doubt they make 2 stroke snowmobiles anymore though. Probably 300hp 4 stroke snowmobiles just like the jet skis lolOh yeah. A lot of mountain machines use that out here.

For sure, but here in the East Kootenays the serious mountain runners won’t accept the extra weight of the four stroke machines and prefer two stroke turbos, the Ski-doo E-TEC being a very popular choice. The technology became property of Ski-doo when the parent company, Bombardier purchased Evenrude, then shut down the Evenrude boat motor division but kept the E-Tec technology.I figured. Sno mobiles are called ski doos up north and jet skis are sea doos. I doubt they make 2 stroke snowmobiles anymore though. Probably 300hp 4 stroke snowmobiles just like the jet skis lol
Just to be clear, then Ski-doo E-Tec engines are turbo charged two strokes and are the king of the hill in Ski-doo’s line up. It makes 180 HP.I figured. Sno mobiles are called ski doos up north and jet skis are sea doos. I doubt they make 2 stroke snowmobiles anymore though. Probably 300hp 4 stroke snowmobiles just like the jet skis lol
