Started a couple days ago got locked, wondering why?

It was locked because there were many posts with prohibited comments (political). (I didn't lock it, but I looked it up and saw many redacted posts).
In addition, the thread was really just you complaining about prices in today's world (is this a surprise by now?), and not really seeking tire advice.
Hence, the thread had run it's course.
The info you need is still visible; the thread was not quarantined.

And since this thread is just you asking about what happend to the other thread, and you've been answered, this thread is also locked.
