Why do YOU like oil so much??

It's odd because the very first truck I had went about 50k between oil changes. I just kept dumping oil in a quart at a time when it got low (leaked a bit). I finally got someone to change the oil, belts, plugs, and wires for me, right before a 900 mile trip to NY. I watched and learned and have been doing it myself ever since. I suspect that I would still have that truck if I had found BITOG (I know it wasn't around yet) back then. That was 16 years ago.

There is something, I don't know how to explain it, about draining old oil and then replacing it with nice, fresh, clean, and pure stuff. Like a blood transfusion for your engine. I get a sense of accomplishment from doing it, like I'm really making a difference. I better stop now, I'm getting all teary eyed.

I know why my cholesterol is high. It's because motor oil has seeped through my skin and entered my blood. I'll present this theory to the Doc. If you don't hear from me again, I've been committed.
