I think I am going back to OEM Toyota oil filters.

Guy with the Million mile Toyota Tundra said to have kept track of every one of its 117 regularly scheduled dealership service visits.

Pretty good bet it most likely went that million miles with mostly OEM Toyota (rock catchers)oil filters.

The Amsoil graph from 2011 has a lot to do with it. From there it blossomed into a belief. Some people determined from the graph OE filters are made for flow over filtration and so forth. The OE themselves don't say anything, because I guess they did their engineering homework before they picked the filter.
