I tried LC20 didn't solve my problem. My engine response became a little sluggish and wanted to achieve what it was when it was new. This started gradually happening after 85,000 miles which I noticed.
I'm pretty sure my engine was very clean and didn't expect anything in the oil filter out of ordinary. Oil used Amsoil from 1,000 miles, Auto-RX at 114,000 miles. I used the Amsoil EaO filter for the clean and the Trasko filter for the rinse. So I got a good look at the filter media on the Trasko filter..nothing out of the ordinary.
If Auto-RX is plating something onto the metal I don't know. What did notice when I poured the RX in a hot engine it plated itself on the shield and it wouldn't come off. Kind of like glued on. It still there after 24,000 miles, I'd say about 85% of it.
My results with Auto-RX is what I wanted to achieve, a tighter response on acceleration. The sluggishness is gone.
